Meet The Gang

Clay Brandon, educated at Harvard and MIT, was heralded as a whiz kid in the computing world when he created an innovative software product to provide a new level of security for banks. His company, Global Security Unlimited (GSU), is headquartered in Chicago and has offices in Europe, Asia, and South America.

GSU's two subsidiaries are CyberSec, which offers Cybersecurity services, and WatchDog Inc., offering on-the-ground security services.

JL Martin is French-Canadian from Vancouver. After graduating from the University of British Columbia, he spent ten years in the Canadian army before returning to school for a doctorate in psychology. While serving in Germany, he met Clay Brandon, who was working as a computer consultant with the U.S. Army and they kept in touch. When Clay decided to go out on his own and start Global Security Unlimited, he invited JL to be his partner.

JL is the president of WatchDog, Inc, the physical security division of GSU.

Max Grant is a retired MI6 operative who was hired to head up the CyberSec Division of GSU in 2007 after finishing a doctorate in cybersecurity at the University of Oxford.

Cress Taylor is a successful historical novelist. From Chicago, she received her D.Phil from the University of Oxford, where she first ran into Max. After 20 years, they met again in Chicago.
